Two Homes

I have two homes a house with my grandpa and an apartment with my mum. I stay with Grandpa from Monday to Friday so I can go to school. At the weekend, I live with mum in the city. With my grandpa, I live on a quiet street. We have a vegetable garden. His house has a conservatry, and I have my own bedroom. Every Friday afternoon, Grandpa helps me pack my bag. I wait for my mum to come and pick me up. My mum lives on a noisy street. The cars and buses whizz past. They always seem to be in a hurry. I don't like to cross the road unless mum is with me. My mum's apartment is very small. It has just one bedroom a lounge, a kitchen and a bathroom. I sleep on a trundle-bed at Mum's house. My bed hides under her bed in the daytime. Our weekends are always busy. We catach the bus to the museum or the pools. We shop at the markets and skate at the park. We sit in the libary and read or we go to the cafe and sit and wait for a hot choclate or something to order.
